Autonomous driving :The influence of steer by torque on vehicle dynamics Autonomous driven vehicles will probably be the future of automotive world. In a fully automated vehicle of SAE level 5 there will be the possibility not to have the steering wheel. For this reason other ways to bend a curve with the vehicle, in addition to nowadays conventional steering have been studied. Recently, Steer by torque has begun a common Driver Assistance function, in order to improve vehicle stability during cornering. In this thesis, performed with the help of FCA company, Steer by torque is studied as the only way to steer a class C car.
