Abstract
It has come to my attention that Bourj Hammoud, a city rich in culture and history, has been somewhat neglected in terms of thorough study and appreciation. This area, where identity and place exhibit significant co-production, is a testament to how psychology, collective memory, and values have profoundly influenced its development. My aim is to highlight these factors, not only to justify the apparent chaos but to understand it as a reflection of the city's narrative. In my analysis, I will explore how the Armenian Diaspora culture in Lebanon has shaped Bourj Hammoud, seeking to determine whether they were the authors or the victims of this chaos.
This understanding will help uncover their identity and in offering visitors an authentic Armenian experience
