Abstract
Fully Homomorphic Encryption is a cryptographic scheme that enables privacy-preserving computation but its resource requirements are prohibitive on edge devices. This thesis accelerates the SEAL-Embedded library (FHE) by vectorizing its most time-consuming functions in both symmetric and asymmetric encryption. The results were validated on RISC-V-based microcontroller X-HEEP. Two vector architectures were evaluated: CVE2 and VICUNA (with CV32E40X core) achieving maximum speedups of 1.25 and 10.06, respectively.
