Abstract
In recent years, aligned with the concern over climate change many companies have started using the hybrid technology due to its increasing potential in driveline’s efficiency and reduction in fuel consumption. This paper deals with the design of an energy management strategy, ECMS, for a hydraulic hybrid wheel loader since previous studies show that hydraulic hybrid technology is promising to use in heavy duty and construction machinery. This study employed a qualitative research approach via secondary data collection. Data were gathered from various scientific articles and academic books. The sources were selected based on their relevance to the research topic, and their contribution to the existing body of knowledge.
A systematic review of the literature was carried out, focusing on recent publications and foundational books in order to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject
