Abstract: |
This thesis proposes the development and deployment of a cloud-based chatbot on Amazon Web Services (AWS), tailored to enhance the online-shopping process with responses generated starting from real data of the customer. The research focuses on advanced Generative AI technologies, particularly the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) methodology and the integration of Agents. The primary objective is to enhance the customer’s existing Question and Answer (Q&A) system, leveraging customer-specific data to contextualize and personalize the responses, thereby minimizing or potentially eliminating the need for human intervention. Moreover, the developed architecture enables the chatbot to interact with the system choosing the appropriate action to perform starting from the user prompt, including product search and shopping cart creation. |
