Abstract

L'argomento della tesi è l'indagine, l'analisi e le proposte metodologiche per la conservazione dell'architettura vernacolare in legno situata in Meskheti, storica regione della Georgia. La tesi comprende ricerche storiche, analisi delle tecnologie, dei materiali e del sistema costruttivo, valutazioni in situ per diverse abitazioni-casi studio, analisi dei principali problemi, possibili soluzioni e conseguente metodologia per la conservazione e/o il rinforzo di tali strutture lignee.
