Abstract
Companies must constantly modify their business practices and workplace cultures to keep ahead of the competition. It is precisely for these reasons that organizational change has become essential. Thus, change is a necessity in both the personal and professional spheres. Nonetheless, connecting technology and processes with consumers and employees of the firm is still difficult. According to studies, projects fail when their human components are neglected in favor of their technological implementation. As a result, it is necessary to integrate project management and change management techniques in order to establish a comprehensive strategy while carrying out this types of changes. This thesis tries to analyze the status of the literature based on methodologies used to perform digitization projects, such as project management and change management.
Then it describes the evolution of a digitization project conducted inside A2A S.p.a.
