Abstract: |
In this dissertation, carried out in collaboration with SACMI, a library composed of the main objects present in the plants of the company is built. This library is created in a virtual environment, by means of a software called Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, that is a flux simulator provided by Siemens. The functionalities of the objects composing the library are defined through the object-oriented programming of the standard objects already provided by the software, making them work as close as possible to the behaviour performed in the real plant. Once the objects of the library have been created, they are placed in a blank framework, composing the two considered distributions; these plants are essentially composed of the same objects, with the exception of the storing components, which are the buffers. Then, some tests are performed, in order to verify the correct functioning of the modelled distributions and to have an estimation of the efficiency performances of the wrapping machines and of the whole plants. |
