Abstract
In the Industry 4.0 era, companies improved manufacturing efficiency through the “digital world”. The purpose of the thesis is to recover the shot-blasted DataMatrix code, using the product unique identity which encoded in the DataMatrix code to build a multi-agents traceability platform, in order to obtain a complete and reliable database which contains product information and attributes, to achieve innovative Industry 4.0 product management and predictive maintenance. The main objectives are: i) product surface DataMatrix code position localization, ii) shot-blasted DataMatrix code recovery and decoding, iii) develop a smart way to collect data from the agents, and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tracking.
