Abstract
Nowadays architectural heritage protection is no longer just only for the great monuments, but also for small sites which are younger or less important. Keynote for the great monuments usually is to prevent them from any possible harm while what for the small sites most of which still have reality functions? In China, because of the special shape of traditional architecture, these small architectural heritage could not support the functions all by themselves, weak in offering more space. In consequence, new buildings always been constructed for helping affording functions together with the old buildings, meanwhile with old buildings new buildings should still keep the value of historic.
So the problem of the formation of these new buildings under the subtitle of heritage protection arose up
