In the avionics domain, this thesis focuses on the development of a Digital Twin enabling the application of Model-Based Safety Analysis (MBSA) concepts, as introduced in ARP4761A and ARP4754B. The system safety metrics extracted through the Digital Twin are then compared with those obtained using classical approaches (e.g., Fault Tree Analysis), allowing a direct comparison between the two methodologies and the identification of their respective advantages and limitations.
