This thesis investigates the transformative impact of implementing a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within Sabelt production environment, a domain that fascinates for its complexity, precision, and potential for innovation. Motivated by a strong interest in industrial processes and operational excellence, the study examines how this approach can revolutionize the shop floor by enabling real-time data acquisition, improving production planning and ensuring full traceability across the manufacturing lifecycle. Through a hands-on approach, the research evaluates system performance by analysing key indicators before and after implementation, providing a concrete assessment of both challenges encountered and benefits achieved. Ultimately, this work demonstrates how MES not only enhances operational efficiency and product quality but also allows companies to respond dynamically to production demands, laying the foundation for a scalable, smarter and more connected manufacturing ecosystem..
