The aviation industry is a fast-growing sector, and low-cost airlines have gained an important share of the market in recent years. This study aims to examine the relationship between export from the province of Turin and the market share of low-cost airlines operating at the airport of Turin. Following analyses of the airline industry, the state of the aviation industry's economy, and the notion of low-cost airlines, the thesis proceeds to examine data on exports via Turin Airport for the previous six years, as well as details on the activities and market share of low-cost airlines operating in SAGAT towards the different destination.
