Abstract
The continuous evolution of transport technology is including a gradual electrification of the circulating car fleet. This trend requires the support of an adequate charging infrastructure network, available also at a city level. Consequently most of the cities are moving towards this directions to satisfy these needs. Following that way, the availability of charging stations has become crucial in ensuring the suitability of electric mobility. As a consequence, cities are faced to modernize and adapt to accommodate these new expectations. In response to this demand, the availability of charging stations has emerged as a critical factor in determining the diffusion of electric vehicles.
These charging stations act as pivotal points that enable owners to recharge their vehicles, reducing range anxiety and promoting the overall diffusion of electric cars as real alternatives to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles
