The purpose of this work is to provide project management tools to a practical case of plant construction. After a literature review about knowledge on theories and methodologies for readers who lack prior knowledge and a brief company presentation with aims and goals of the Tau, this study aim to focus on one of the main projects Tau started in 2022 and that will be mainly developed during 2023, related to the build-up of an initial small plant to introduce the company to production take-off. The thesis will apply knowledge gained from PM in terms of WBS, definition of tasks and activities, roles and responsibilities, activities’ duration and reflections on critical path; risk management and contingency plan; budget definition both considering activities and risks.
