The sector has made great progress in terms of infrastructure development, technical basis, and product variety. Because of Indian pharmaceutical companies' capacity to create cost-effective pharmaceuticals, demand from the export market has been constantly increasing. The goal of this study is to examine the before and aftereffects of FDI in pharmaceuticals on Indian economy. Whether Indian pharma need Foreign Direct Investments for its global developments and influence of foreign direct investment on India's pharmaceutical industry. Evidence collected from Invest India (National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency) and IBEF (India Brand equity foundation) are presented that justifies the impact of FDI on Indian pharma growth.
