Abstract
The thesis work was carried out at the EP department of Michelin Italiana, which, following the company policy based on 3Ps (Profit, Planet, People), decided to adopt an environmental and prevention management system, also for the Milan Commercial Headquarter, with the main purpose of obtaining the ISO 45001 certification. The work carried out, on the occasion of the thesis, consisted in the creation of the main structure of the system including the manual, the procedure of the processes implemented and the related indicators to ensure the monitoring of the system performances, and the most important instructions that are fundamental to guarantee the functioning of the SMEP system.
In the current situation, an adequate system has been defined which is starting to plan the first actions in order to achieve the continuous improvement objective of the ISO 45001 standard; this will be done during the next meeting of the management team
