Abstract
The aeronautical industry faces important challenges in the last decades to the extent of improving sustainability and reducing environmental impact affecting climate changes. A great technological improvement is required in each interested sectors but older methodologies where each field is analyzed as stand-alone is now no longer possible because of limited reliability and by low overall efficiency. New and innovative analysis techniques, based on multidisciplinarity, have to be implemented allowing to have a wider and more solid overview of key aspects. In this context, the Low Pressure Turbine represents one of the most suitable example in which the mutual interaction between vibration mechanics, aeroelasticity and flight mechanic (aeromechanic), is the key factor in order to achieve the best compromise in terms of aerodynamic efficiency, structural reliability and thus waste reduction.
The huge increment of the computational cost during the new design steps must be taken into account in a competitive world as the aeronautical one and the minimization of the lead time is fundamental
