This work aims to expose what strategic role and direct contribution logistics has assumed over the years in business management, especially in the cases of companies that work on orders, or manufacturing activities. Will be indicated research and studies on the new concept of logistics, of Supply Chain Management which focuses on the set of processes managed in the field of logistics that integrate the company with its suppliers and customers, in order to obtain greater advantages in terms of competitiveness and costs. Specifically, the objective of the project will concern the redefinition of the customer service strategy, which has led, first of all, to embrace new stocking policies as a function of an adjustment of the service level to changed environmental conditions, associated with a set to zero the level of stocks held in the warehouse and secondly, the thesis work will analyze the feeding methods of the production plants.
