Abstract
Tecno-economic analysis of a sub-critical pulverized coal plant, with carbon capture section, based on membrane separation. Effects of the introduction of three novel Pebax membranes are evaluated with Integrated Environmental Control Panel software, provided by Carnage University and NETL. After the introduction of global climate change problem, CO2 separation technologies are briefly described, focus on membrane separation. State of the art of membrane is described, highlights the pros. and cons. of each classes of material and provide a representation of the Robeson Plot. The third chapter explain all the inputs and hypothesis used for the simulations and result are showed in four chapter.
Tecno-economic comparison between commercial Pebax and two novel composite Pebax is carried out
