Abstract
Unobtrusive measurement of capacitive electrocardiography (ECG) and bioimpedance (BIOZ) for sleep monitoring applications: The aim of this report is to show how the non-contact system, able to acquire different vital signs of the body, developed by IMEC works and the methodology that has been used to improve it in all its functional aspects. Main objectives: • Moving from system v3.1 to v4.1. • Realization of a bed prototype. • Validation of the measurements using the prototype for sleeping apnea study applications. To do so it has been necessary to achieve intermediate results: • Validation of system v4.0. • Study and realization of flexible textile electrodes.
• Optimization of the system aimed of direct (BIOZ) respiration measurements (not present in system v3.1)
