Abstract
Super-resolution single-particle tracking provides a huge amount of new data about biological systems. Here we describe statistical methods and data analysis techniques to extract relevant biophysical features from SPT data, reconstructing the dynamics of amyloid beta aggregates in cells. Then, we consider a model describing the motion of molecules on the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and present the results of numerical simulations that allowed to estimate for the first time the timescale of redistribution of material on the ER.
