Abstract:

In this project our concentration is on the blades of the rotary harrow, our goal is evaluating the forces and stresses exerted on the blades during rotation in different types of soil, using different types of blades with different geometry, in addition we are able also to measure the deformation of the soil surface. Those values that we will get from the analysis will be useful for later evaluation of power and energy in order to develop the performance of the harrow getting the highest working speed with the lowest power and fuel consumption, also increasing the life of the blades.
