Abstract:

This project was mainly composed of two parts. The first one was related to the analysis of satellite data in terms of sources, format and how to work on them. The second one was about properly managing the acquired information, in terms of satellite imagery, in order to build a machine learning model, by means of neural netwoks, capable of detecting burnt areas in a given picture crop.
