Abstract:

In the thesis, the dynamic behaviour of metallic plates has been deepened, with analytical methods, FEM simulation, and the building of an experimental test rig, to take measurement with specific laboratory instruments. Both the finite elements simulation and the experimental measurements have been applied, in the second part, to the design and building of the soundboard of a guitar, a component which is fundamental in the acoustic performance of the instrument.
