Abstract
The rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) has increased the demand for communication technologies capable of supporting large-scale deployments of low-power devices over wide geographical areas. Among the available Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies, LoRaWAN has emerged as a promising solution due to its long communication range, low energy consumption, and flexible network architecture. The study focuses on analyzing the performance of a LoRaWAN network by utilizing metadata collected from multiple class A end - nodes . This analysis aims to evaluate key performance indicators , particularly the (RSSI) and (SNR), (PDR), (PLR), which are crucial for understanding the network efficiency.
To enhance accuracy of the evaluation, predicted data obtained by commercial softwares and radio propagation tools written on purpose, and geographical data (including altimetry), were considered
