Abstract
Energy Geostructures allow conventional ground-contact elements to exchange heat with the surrounding soil, coupling structural and thermal functions in a single component. Among them, energy walls remain less investigated than energy piles, and field evidence on their real behavior is still limited. This thesis analyses experimental data from the GeothermSkin energy-wall prototype installed at the Energy Center of the Politecnico di Torino, where a retaining wall is equipped with heat-exchanger pipes and a dense network of temperature, humidity, and mechanical sensors distributed across six hydraulic circuits. The monitoring campaign covered the period from May to December 2025 and included four operational tests: two cooling tests during summer and two heating tests during autumn and early winter.
The raw sensor records were cleaned, georeferenced to corrected wall-base coordinates, and organized by circuit and by distance from the wall
