Abstract
Landslides represent an important natural hazard in mountainous areas, and their evolution can be influenced by meteorological conditions. Passive seismic monitoring has proven to be an effective tool to investigate internal changes within unstable rock masses through the variations of the resonance frequencies and ambient vibration characteristics. This work aims to investigate the influence of meteorological forcing on the dynamic behaviour of the Gollone landslide (Acceglio, CN, Italy) by integrating passive seismic data, recorded by two monitoring stations, with meteorological observations, extensometer measurements, and numerical modelling. The analysis was structured according to data availability, instrumentation, and seismic data collection periods. Seismic data were analysed through Power Spectral Density (PSD) and Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) techniques, complemented by the azimuth analysis and a preliminary assessment of microseismic activity through the STA/LTA method.
Results highlight a strong influence of meteorological conditions on fracture dynamics
