Abstract
The current global energy transition necessitates a rapid evolution towards sustainable supply sources. In this macroeconomic scenario, Morocco emerges as a strategic actor for the MENA region. However, despite abundant natural resources, full exploitation is hindered by structural barriers, such as limited grid infrastructure and a consolidating incentive framework. To contextualize this research, Chapter 2 analyzes the Moroccan energy landscape. This section maps renewable resources and existing infrastructures, examining the evolution of national policies to highlight the gap between the enormous theoretical potential and the current state of implementation. Establishing the technical foundations, Chapter 1 details the physical and aerodynamic principles governing photovoltaic and wind conversion.
It discusses characteristics like power curves and dependencies on environmental variables (irradiance, temperature, and wind speed) providing the theoretical tools necessary to interpret the energy production metrics analyzed in the subsequent sections
