Deployment of Cloud-Based Simulation Environment for Thermal Modelling of a High Performance Sportscar.

Abstract
Due to the important discoveries and advancement in the automotive field through the years, nowadays the simulation phase is an essential step to both achieve better results and lower costs. However, to ensure the full model’s and results’ correctness, the simulation software should be used by experienced users, which in some situations may not be the most efficient solution and, in addition, the simulations are usually performed directly relying on company’s hardware, representing therefore an additional cost. A fair settlement can be found through the usage of models located in a cloud-based simulation environment – in the present case previously developed by GT themselves – that can be used by unexperienced users; in this way, test engineers could easily run the simulation representing the system before testing it physically.
This kind of methodology would give expected results’ insights before the test had place, avoiding possible damages in more extreme configurations and anticipate the results
