Abstract:

Lateral Force Variation: Data Analysis. This thesis aims to investigate how variations in tyre structure, particularly carcass turn-up length, bead filler height, and metallic belt widths, influence lateral force variation. The project will begin with an analysis of historical production data to formulate a hypothesis. Following this, a Design of Experiments (DOE) approach will be employed to produce tyre variants and test the hypothesis, with the ultimate goal of understanding and minimizing lateral force variation.
