Abstract:

This thesis wants to summarize the experience and knowledge built in the last two years of Formula Student regarding low voltage system and his car integration. Starting from system design passing through choice of components until actual production of the complete system. Particular attention is given to production methodology to validate the process with the aim of improving reliability of future Squadra Corse prototypes. Moreover a preliminary study is done on future updates of the system like integration of a TS DC/DC converter to replace Low Voltage battery and on failure points that emerged during 2024 racing season.
