Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the homologation process of euro 6D final emission level for a BEV luxury vehicle. Initially, the attention is posed on the world of emissions, trying to understand how the regulatory requirements evolved over centuries and trying to understand what are nowadays the requirements that new registered vehicles have to respect. After this analysis, it's been deep analyzed the real homologation process, for EURO 6D emission level, for a luxury BEV car, focusing on Coast Down and Homologation test reports. Finally, a view on EURO 7 has been viewed.
