Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to study the mechanical and thermal properties of an innovative composite material made of silicon carbide and carbon fibers, used to produce brake discs for high-performance vehicles. Various experimental methods were employed, and the results obtained from the different methods were compared to verify their reliability.
