The present elaboration analyzes the phenomenon of the former dismissed industrial areas and in particular of the complex belonging to the wool trade industries of the Bona brothers located in Carignano. After a brief introduction on the history of the city and how the building morphology of the place has changed over the years, we will proceed to analyze in detail the area concerned: the former wool mill Bona. The 3D modeling work in Revit of the complex from the last years of the nineteenth century until today will be illustrated. This will be followed by the explanation of the concept of industrial archeology as a testimony of human activities and his past, addressing the theme of the reuse of these structures that today appear to be "empty spaces".
