Tire model suitable for remote real time simulations on the cloud.

Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to develop an external tire model for the VI-Grade software VI-CarRealTime, suitable for real-time simulation, and to run it on a professional dynamic driving simulator. The focus is on having the chance to run the tire model located on a different computer from the concurrent one. The external MF-Tyre model 5.2 has been developed in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and it provides the forces and moments calculation following the Pacejka formulas in longitudinal and lateral pure slip and combined slip, considering transient behaviour as well. This tire model has been validated, comparing its results to VI-TireTestrig ones.
Then, a 14dof vehicle model has been created in order to reach some performance and safety parameters, and to be able to wear the tires the external model has been built with
