Abstract:

Today's urban sustainable development is plagued by traffic congestion as a major issue. An intelligent traffic light controller using fuzzy logic technology and a PLC is described in this project. Using this technology, a Tashkent crossroads simulation has been developed to show the traffic situation at an isolated junction. This software easy to use and compatible with Windows operating systems. A conventional fixed-time controller and a fuzzy logic controller can be compared. Fuzzy logic controllers outperform traditional traffic lights in terms of performance and efficiency, according to results from computer simulations.
