Abstract:

The project will focus on deploying characterization algorithms capable of analyzing big data measured by surface topography measuring instruments, and creating surface models by a finite element approach to establish digital twins of the surface topography measurements. Such development is deemed essential when advanced statistical processing and uncertainty evaluation are to be applied to micrographs.
