Abstract
This study aims to show the effects of different building envelope retrofitting strategies due to increasing energy demand and energy consumption in the residential buildings. To show purpose of this study, the energy estimations were done by using TABULA Webtool and QGIS Software. With the excessive energy consumption in the worldwide, governments and many institutions conduct many research and investigate new building envelope retrofitting strategies to create more sustainable and energy-efficient livable areas. Especially European Commission has established many legislative frameworks related to not just only for energy efficiency and energy saving in the buildings but also reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions due to increasing CO2 emissions because of fossil energy sources.
The northern region of Turin, the Regio Parco district, which is close to the Po river, is the subject of the article’s investigation into the city’s urban morphological fabrics
