Before describing the maintenance sheets and the related work carried out for the vehicle under study, the paper consists of 4 chapters of a bibliographic type in which reference is made to the state of the art as regards: - The regulations in the railway sector, highlighting the differences between the railway company and railway infrastructure manager; - The factor human resources and the methods to consider it in the event of an accident, describing two specific applications in the railway sector of risk analysis (The RFI and the HuPeROI approach); - The maintenance aspects to correctly plan and mitigate faults, and the various types of maintenance that can be carried out both based on the kilometers traveled and operating time. The paper will then be used as a starting point for train maintenance staff courses for client companies in the railway sector.
