Abstract
This thesis is mainly about researching a motorized axis's position control based on Arduino, including both hardware and software. This thesis aims to design a control system, which could make a slider precisely at the position following the user's order. This thesis proposes a hardware design and then a software design to achieve this task. Compared to the traditional method, the Single-Chip Microcomputer, the method in this thesis is more straightforward, thanks to the Arduino board and its open-source software. The motor employed is a 24V DC motor. Thus, the circuit design is also included in this thesis. The first function of the circuit is the motor rotation direction control, which is accomplished by H-bridge.
The second function is motor rotation speed control, which is performed by the PWM method
