Abstract:

The objective of the analysis presented in this thesis is the definition and standardization of a production process capable of facing the challenges of the current market, through the achievement of adequate levels of effectiveness and efficiency. Starting from the analysis and mapping of the as-is process, all the connections between the activities of the various teams have been made explicit to eliminate any type of loss and create a to-be flow that would allow a much more efficient production by reducing lead time and increasing performance. The work done during the internship months can be summarized in the following phases: - Data collection and analysis to map the as-is flow; - Analysis of the various problems related to the process; - Creation of production scheduling based on the real production capacity of the machinery; - Creation of a new flow for corporate gifting; - Implementation of the OEE as a performance meter.
