The following discussion concerns the creation of a dynamic vehicle model for the 2018 Vehicle of FOrmula SAE tema "Squadra Corse PoliTo" and its subsequent validation to obtain more relevant results from simulations. Topics discussed in detail range from the basic model creation, to track testing and data logging to obtain a reference behavior for the vehicle and finally to the comparison of the model behavior with the real vehicle and subsequent optimizations of the model.
