Abstract:

Recovery of anti-oxidants molecules from bio-food-beverage wastes. The extraction of bioactive molecules as antioxidant has been postulated as one of the most attractive resource recovery, however antioxidants molecules are numerous and very different in terms of chemical structures, sizes, and chemical properties according to their sources and origins. Furthermore, the fact that they are generally present in complex solutions or matrices does not facilitate their fractionation, and sometimes, the antioxidant property comes from the modification of the source such as enzymatic hydrolysis to liberate the molecules of interest. The work to be carried out on the Master Thesis will be centered on identifying membrane clean-up stages to be integrated after the extraction stages of agrofood beverage wastes using mico-wave, ultrasound and presurized liquid extraction assisted technologies.
