Agile Documentation.

Rel. Alberto De Marco. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale (Engineering And Management), 2019

Abstract:

The thesis has the objective of analyzing when, how and what documentation is needed when adopting an Agile methodology, like SCRUM, in the context of a medium-large organization. This is done highlighting what the most important researchers and software practitioners, like Andreas Rüping and Scott Ambler, said about this issue and what tips they provide to organizations. Then, a case study of a real company is analyzed, with the objective of understanding better how documentation is useful even if adopting Agile Approaches. With that objective, the AS IS scenario, with the description of documents used until now with the adoption of Waterfall approach, and the TO BE scenario, with the description of the documentation which need to be prepared when dealing with projects managed in Agile, are compared.
