Abstract
The use of innovative technologies such as Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality for aircraft maintenance training field aims to minimize the costs of training on complex machines allowing instant knowledge and easier accessibility. Furthermore, Virtual Reality leads to a training approach that is not possible with the physical elements, by the construction of simulated scenarios that cannot be tested in the real world. TXT e-solutions has experimented these technologies in internally or externally funded projects and currently sells solutions based on AR / MR / VR in different sectors, mainly in aeronautics. In particular, the company is developing training solutions for aeronautical maintenance personnel with which the student can interact with the vehicle in a totally virtual way.
The purpose of this thesis is to study the S1000D aeronautical standard and its grammar as to design and implement a mapping to AR / MR / VR software solutions
