Convolutional Neural Networks for cloud segmentation of satellite imagery

A large amount of the images transmitted from satellites to the ground are useless as they contain too many clouds. Therefore, this thesis proposes the implementation of a deep learning algorithm to evaluate the cloud cover on the satellite to transmit only useful images.
