Abstract
Development of biodegradable mini-radioprobe to measure fluctuations within warm clouds. Over the time, despite the technological evolution of instrumentation capable in atmospheric observations such as satellites, probes and meteorological stations, even today several physical and chemical phenomena which take place inside the clouds are mostly unknown, or at least not confirmed. Clouds in fact are a very complex environment where large scale are connected and influence the smaller ones and the other way round. Horizon2020 Innovative Training Network Cloud-MicroPhysics-Turbulence-Telemetry (MSCA-ITN-COMPLETE) is the project, whose purpose is to develop a radiosonde capable of floating in warm clouds and making measurements following Lagrangian trajectories.
Moreover, the probe is designed to be disposable, so it must be biodegradable, cheap and simple to produce
