Abstract: |
Development of a model for Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs): the objective of work is to develop a model of soot filtration inside diesel particulate filters that allows fast yet accurate predictions. The construction of this model is based on a multi-scale approach, where different sub-models are considered for the different length scales: microscale (filter wall); mesoscale (filter channel); macroscale (complete filter). The model is based on a generic channel geometry approach. |
