Full duplex radios for future mobile communication systems This document presents a detailed description of the full-duplex technology and its importance for the future of the mobile communications, the main challenges for the implementation of this technology are discussed following with a presentation of the main problems for the distinct layers and their corresponding mechanism to solve them. Finally, a complete presentation of the project done in cooperation with TIM is given, starting with a description of the system simulator, the theoretical and analytical work carried on the project is then given with the employed formulas, the results of the simulation, and finally the analysis of the work is done to conclude the thesis project.
